This album has grown on me with repeated listenings. I seem to like Izenzon as a bassist more after reading about him in the Ornette bio "A Harmolodic Life."

Paul Motian - Tribute

This is one of my top ten favorite albums. "Tuesday Ends Saturday" is one of my top ten favorite songs

MJQ - At Music Inn w/ Jimmy Guiffre

A gem I was able to find in Marquette MI. Some very cool pieces with Guiffre on them.

Joni Mitchell - Mingus

Not too wild about this one. Does have Jaco.. tho.

Joni Mitchell - Miles of Aisles

This is a hit and miss live album of Joni's with many of her classics, some of which sound completely different with a funky rhythm section (Funky "Big Yellow Taxi", for example).

Joni Mitchell - Blue

I didn't know too many of the songs on Blue before I bought it, now I realize that every single song on it is classic. This is a great album. My favorites are "California," "All I Want," and "Case of You."
